If you are looking for a quick and intimate alternative to getting married at a Home Affairs office, as long as your paperwork is in order and your two witnesses are present, the ceremony can take place within 24 - 48 hours of booking at your venue or my home office, provided I am able to accomodate you.

What is the first step?

Ideally you may want to look over the legalities page to ensure that you and your partner meet all the legal requirements to be married in South Africa. Once you have done that, complete the enquiry form. I will then send you a booking form to complete and return after which I will be in touch to arrange a consultation with both you and your fiancé.

What happens at the consultation?

Meeting you in person gives me the opportunity to get to know you as a couple so that I can put together a ceremony that is ideal for you. I will personalise your ceremony, providing you with ideas to make your wedding ceremony unforgettable. If you have your own ceremony outline or traditions that you would like to incorporate I would be happy to accomodate you. Each ceremony is unique so I encourage all couples to not feel limited to the traditional aspects of a marriage ceremony but to add a unique element that will make the big day even more magical. Practical anything goes, be it traditional or not.

The meeting also gives me a chance to ask questions and find out more about what you expect from me on the day. We will be able to determine at the first meeting if any additional meetings are required before the ceremony, however I strongly encourage a rehearsal a day or two before the ceremony and at the venue if possible

I require that all paperwork be handed in at the first meeting to ensure that all legal documentation is in place. At the very latest I require the documents a week before the ceremony.

Furthermore, I will be at hand to advise you accordingly should you have any questions or concerns.

Should it not be possible for you and your partner to attend a meeting at my premesis, I can meet up with you at the wedding venue or a venue of your choice. Please note that a travelling fee will be applicable.
